For 1,000 years the waters from the Upper Axe have spilled from Wookey Hole to power mils along thsi man-made watercourse. Now only Burcott Mill remains, one of only 50 fully working water-powered flour mills operating in Britain.
Use Extra Fine as an ideal all-purpose flour. In addition to blending with the Coarse flour for making a lighter, healthy loaf, it can be used to make cakes, crumbles, scones and pastry.
