This product comes as a natural raspberry flavoured, chewable tablet, each containing a guaranteed 1 billion live bacteria. It is completely non-dairy, making it suitable for people with dairy allergy and intolerance, as well as vegetarians and vegans. Each bacterial culture in this blend is a specially cultured, selectively isolated pure strain of microflora which has been extensively researched at the University of Nebraska by Dr Khem Shahani, the pioneer of probiotic research. Super Five uses the authentic L. acidophilus DDS-1 studied by Shahani for over 30 years. Each culture has been grown in a natural medium and stabilised both before and after freeze-drying using natural stabilisers. Refrigeration ensures maximum potency and stability.
